Even though my modem was not listed as one of the compatible devices I gave it a shot, and low and behold it worked. I assume it uses the same AX8817x or similar chipset. The downstream bandwidth was effected slightly by using the USB en lieu of the RJ45 connection 7500 kbps vs 9989 kbps. However, I don t notice the difference in performance.

I plan to post my settings for others interested in the process, but for now I hope this helps someone else trying to do the same.

Ipnetrouterx is another offering from this company as well but I find the price a bit too steep 100 when I can configure my own firewall settings manually.

I thought I would share my experience as I could not find anything in my searchings on the net.
